  1. Function.

    Polyethylene pipes for combustion gases supply are intended for building and repair of either in countryside underground gas-distribution networks transporting natural gas, nor in cities and settlements.

    These pipes also can be used for haul of air and other gaseous materials, to which the polyethylene is chemically resistant.

  3. Pipes characteristics.

    JSC " Gammaplast Ukraine " produces polyethylene pipes of a diameter from 20 up to 250 mms, which correspond DSTU BV 2.7-73-98, for combustion gases supply. In the table, hereinafter, the type sizes of produced pipes and their characteristics are showed:

    According DSTU BV 2.7-73-98, the pipes for combustion gases supply are made of yellow color or black with yellow longitudinal strips in sections or coils.

    Gas-supply pipes are produced with mandatory marking on DSTU BV 2.7-73-98.
    The marking should include the trademark, registered in a set order and (or) the producer's name, conventional sign of the pipe without a word "pipe", batch number, date of manufacture. In marking is assumed to include the other information.

  4. Using technology.

    Two kinds of connections are used at polyethylene gas pipelines building:

    a) polyfusion butt joint (method of a melt)
    b) connection by thermo stable couplings.

    Possibility to fix connections by a method of a melt (polyfusion), the wide range of connections and parts gives designers and builders many new capabilities, and for customers highest degree of gas pipeline reliability.
    Polyfusional connections by thermo stable couplings are more reliable and are simple during mounting process therefore they are more preferential. However thermo stable couplings are expensive enough and are not often used in Ukraine as well.
    The staff operating with mounting of gas-supply pipes has a special training and is tested by commission.

  5. Production quality.

    For quality control of pipes as to the parameters of surface exterior, sizes, tensile yield point, the aspect ratios at a gap take not less than five assays (quality control concerning these parameters is carried out by its own laboratory). And not less than three assays are taken for the test concerning (other) remaining parameters. These - more labor-consuming and long-time tests are carried out in the accredited laboratory of the Paton Institute, with which we have an agreement on service.

    The selection of assays is carried out evenly during production process by the method of random excerption.

  1. Function.

    Corrugated drainage pipes are used for building of melioration systems, water lowering and dehumidifying systems. Corrugated pipes are used as protective and signal for cable systems, pipelines gas systems due to the unique characteristics: combination of lightness, elasticity, the cheapness and sufficient strength against the external loads. Also hothouse farms for the soil steaming operation before crops planting use them.

    Corrugated drainage polyethylene pipes are produced according to the technical specifications 33-1018312-06-89.
    JSC " Gammaplast Ukraine " produces drainage polyethylene pipes with diameters 50 and 90 mms.

    Pipes can be manufactured either with punching (perforation) (water receiving foramens), or without punching.

    Water receiving foramens are located in corrugation cavities uniformly on pipe lengthwise and circumference in four longitudinal rows for diameter 50 mm and in six longitudinal rows for diameter 90 mm.

  4. Technology of using.

    Corrugated polyethylene pipes are laid in a soil on defined depth, according to the type during drainage systems building. Pipes are wrapped by a fiberglass or not woven material for avoidance of water receiving foramens clogging before laying in a soil. Special couplings or clammy polymer belt the corrugated pipes are connected. Such connections are considered reliable enough, because the corrugated polyethylene pipes are not penstock. The water, coming through a material, falls into water receiving foramens, and then is diverted by tubes into a headers or channels system.

    Corrugated pipes without water receiving foramens are used during cable network buildings. Inside the pipe the steel wire is brought during the mounting period in, which considerably facilitates the cable hauling inside the pipe.

  1. Function.

    Polyethylene low-pressure pipes are designed for the building of water and sewer systems and pipelines transporting water and other liquids including also alimentary.
    These pipes also can be used for air and other gaseous materials transporting, against which the polyethylene is chemically resistant. The polyethylene pipe are used for the communication cables and wiring cables laying, aged sewer systems recovery by the method of " a tube in a tube " (relining) broaching, as different shells (coverings) for the steel tubes isolation.

  2. Technology of using.

    In polyethylene pipelines are used two connection kinds:

    a) polyfusion connection (melt method)
    b) mechanical connection.

    Polyfusion connections are: butt joint, socketed and thermo stable.

    The mechanical connections are fixed by connecting parts, which provide guaranteed density and stability against the external pressure up to 1.0mPa.

    Existing possibility to fix connections by the melt method (polyfusion), the wide range of connections gives to designers and builders many new capabilities, and the highest degree of the water line reliability to the customers.

  3. Production quality.

    The company laboratory, where raw materials and finished articles are tested, carries out quality control on polyethylene pipes manufactured on JSC "Gammaplast Ukraine".

    Pipes are tested in laboratory for the purpose to correspond the GOST 18599-83 standard on following indexes:

    • The pipe surface exterior (smooth, without cracks, bladders, conches and extraneous inclusions)

    • The pipe sizes (external diameter, wall thickness, ovality)

    • Tensile yield point

    • Aspect ratio at a gap

    • Pipe length change after the warm-up.

Made and tested pipes completely correspond to the GOST 18599-83 standard and to the customer requirements.

JSC " Gammaplst Ukraine " has the Certificate of corresponding registered in the Certification System Registry UkrSEPRO UA1.107.09902-01 of a series GA ¬ 075676 dated 26.04.2001, that guarantees certificated production correspondence to the normative documents requirements.

Polyethylene pellicles.
GOST 10354-82.

Function:

Polyethylene pellicles are fine materials of diversified application made from polyethylene and its compositions containing pigments (stains), deflocculants (stabilizer), sliding, antistatic or modifying components.

Multifunction polyethylene pellicles application is provided by compact roll packaging shape, hose width of 1500 mms. and thickness from 40 up to 250 microns and it is used in: an agriculture for the hothouses shelter and hotbeds sheltering; in melioration and water management building as a drains, tanks waterproofing; in the building industry - for vapor-tight partitions creation , insulation diaphragms for floating floors, for the roof waterproofing, for lofts isolation, wood floors isolation and also for medical goods packaging and foodstuff packaging; as a packing material and also for consumer goods manufacturing and other purposes.

JSC "Gammaplast Ukraine " produces pipe fitting for pipelines butt welding.

These parts are produced by the welded method in steady-state conditions.

Pipe fitting usage in pipelines mounting allows simplify mounting process and pipeline reliability. Pipefitting can be used for any pipelines building; they are produced of pipes of those diameters and types which are used during the mounting process.
